My First Step into Website Building: WordPress vs. Squarespace

As part of my first step in learning, I built two simple websites using two different platforms: WordPress.org and Squarespace. I chose these two intentionally to understand the different approaches to website building.
WordPress.org helped me understand the foundations of website creation—from purchasing a domain and setting up hosting (I used Hostinger), to exploring page builders and working with themes. I chose a simple, beginner-friendly theme to avoid overwhelm and created this website mainly to document my learnings.

Squarespace introduced me to the world of modern drag-and-drop builders. It was quick, intuitive, and beginner-friendly, allowing me to set up a clean blog page with ease. Both websites are minimal for now, focusing solely on the blog page, as content creation is my current focus.
